LENTEN SOUP SUPPERS
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Holmen
During the holy season of Lent,
the Soup Suppers
will again be held after the
Saturday-evening Masses
between Ash Wednesday and Palm
Sunday. Each gathering will
offer an evening of a simple meal
of soup, bread and beverage.
The evenings’ activities will
also include a short presentation on a
topic relevant to the observance
of Lent. All parishioners are invited
to come for nourishment of body
and soul.
The organizers are again looking
for volunteers to sign up to
bring a crock-pot of soup or
bread to one of the evenings. There
are sign-up sheets in the
gathering place for volunteers to indicate
which nights they are willing to
bring soup or bread.
